The String thing is part of The Dartington Summer Youth Programme, an annual programme designed to immerse young people aged 8 to 20 in music. The programme offers young people creative opportunities for practical engagement with music.

The ideal boost for young string players, this 3 day workshop will open up the world of ensemble playing, give practical guidance on technique and develop listening and performance skills.
For violin, viola, cello and double bass at Grade 1+ or equivalent.

Fees
Fees are subsidised by Dartington Plus and the cost for the week-long full-time course £75. Courses are held at King Edward VI Community College (KEVICC) in Totnes. Please note that no food or accommodation is provided.
