The year round performance programme at Dartington offers a creative platform for a range of performances by local, regional, national and international artists. We also integrate our education and community programme with this performance series.
Dartington Plus aims to include high quality, innovative artists and work in our performance programme that normally would not be accessible in the south west. Our reasons for this are two-fold: to create new opportunities for SW audiences and to help inspire our budding musicians on to great things!

Music & Dance Exchange (m&de)
m&de - Music And Dance Exchange - is an annual residential interdisciplinary performance laboratory for professional artists and researchers, based at Dartington.
m&de allows participants to explore collaborations between the disciplines of music and dance, with the additional involvement of theatre, visual and digital arts, to create starting points for new performance work. m&de provides essential time for artists to investigate new aspects of performance work; to engage in creative practice-based research where the focus is on process, not product.
