BandiT
A must for all rock and pop musicians. By the end of this course you will have honed your performance skills, written, performed and recorded your own material, with help and guidance from professional musicians and industry specialists. (ages 14 - 20)
Compose Yourself / Richard Rodney Bennett Residency
A performance and education project, in partnership with Orchestras Live and the Orchestra of the Swan, that combined composition and performance workshops to enable Year 9 & 10 music students to compose for, programme, organise and perform a public concert, alongside professional composers and musicians.

During our Junior Chamber Music Summer School in 2005, the need for a high quality, South West based, unconducted youth chamber music orchestra was identified, resulting in the formation of the South West Camerata.

South West Music Managers Group
Dartington Plus is launching a forum for professional and semi-professional South West based music managers.
South West Music School
Dartington Plus has, in partnership with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Wells Cathedral School and Wiltshire Music Centre, secured funding from the Department for Education and Skills to launch a new music school for gifted and talented youngsters from the South West.
South West Sound
Dartington Plus hosted a South West Music Symposium - ‘Future Opportunities, New Challenges’ in April 2004. The event was a great success, with delegates clearly identifying the need for an annual event. Dartington Plus has since repeated and greatly enlarged the event in subsequent years.
The String Thing - Workshop for Young People
The ideal boost for young string players, this 3 day workshop will open up the world of ensemble playing, give practical guidance on technique and develop listening and performance skills. (ages 8 - 12)
