The Plymouth Music Industry Group today announced Plymouth's biggest ever music festival, which will feature around 140 acts in pubs, clubs, concert halls and street stages around the city between 21 and 30th October.

The week is designed to raise the profile of Plymouth's growing music industry and also create an annual showcase, combining local talent with top quality visitors.

The Plymouth Music Industry Group (PMIG) was formed last Autumn following a meeting called by Plymouth City Council and Dartington Plus, the regional music development agency. PMIG is seeking to develop the music industry in Plymouth as part of Plymouth's Creative Industries strategy.
