You could also write to the listings co-ordinator at your local paper two weeks in advance or your local listings magazine (such as Twenty Four Seven or The Venue) eight weeks in advance with details of the event such as title, date, venue, ticket prices and booking information.

Where can I showcase my material to the right people?
The Dartington Plus annual South West Sound festival is a good place to start. This regional music symposium and festival is held every spring and acts as a showcase platform for talent in the region. It's attend by promoters working in most genres of music, as well as industry leaders and A&R reps. If you are interested in performing at the Symposium please contact Lara Lloyd.
